Welcome to La Vinci. By booking or hiring from us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your order.
1. General
La Vinci Events provides luxury event hire items including, but not limited to, flower walls and LED neon signs. All hires are subject to these Terms and Conditions, which apply to every booking, quote, or hire agreement with us.
2. Bookings and Payments
Bookings can be made through our online booking form or directly via email or phone.Once your form is submitted, our team will check availability for your requested date. If the item is available, you’ll receive an invoice via email within two hours. You can then choose to either pay in full or make a 50% deposit to secure your booking.
Our BSB and account details will be included in the invoice, and the remaining balance is due two days prior to your event.
3. Hire Period
Our standard hire period is 24 hours (7am–7am). Delivery and collection times can be adjusted to suit venue access or scheduling needs, but the hire duration remains fixed. For private or outdoor events, La Vinci will coordinate times based on accessibility and safety.
4. Delivery, Setup, and Collection
To ensure the safety and presentation of our items, La Vinci Events handles all delivery, setup, and pack-down.These services are included in the booking price within 30 km of Brisbane CBD.For locations beyond 30 km, an additional fee of $3 per kilometre applies.Items must be available for collection at the agreed time. Additional fees may apply if access is delayed.
5. Use and Care of Hire Items
All hire items must be used indoors only, unless outdoor use has been pre-approved by our team on the day of the event and weather conditions are suitable.Our products are not waterproof or wind-resistant.The hirer is responsible for ensuring all items remain in their original condition during the hire period.Any damage, loss, or theft of items will incur repair or replacement costs at full value.In the case of neon sign damage, whether caused by the hirer or their guests, a liability charge of $300 per sign will apply to cover replacement costs.Please ensure signs are handled carefully and not moved, touched, or leaned on once installed.
6. Safety and Compliance
All LED neon signs operate on low-voltage power (12–24V DC) and meet CE and RoHS international safety standards.Each product is professionally tested and tagged in Australia before every hire to ensure compliance with local electrical safety requirements.La Vinci Events holds $20 million Public Liability Insurance and can provide a certificate upon request.
7. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation terms are as follows:Deposits are non-refundable.If cancellation occurs 45 days or more before the event, the remaining balance (if paid) will be refunded, less the deposit.If cancellation occurs between 30 and 44 days before the event, 50% of the total hire amount will be refunded.If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event, no refund will be issued.
8. Custom Neon Signs
Custom neon signs are made to order with your choice of wording, font, and size.Custom pieces generally take up to three (3) weeks for production and delivery. Custom signs are charged at an additional cost and are yours to keep after the event.
9. Liability
La Vinci Events will not be held responsible for any injury, loss, or damage caused by misuse of hire items.The hirer assumes full responsibility for the items from the time of delivery until collection.In the unlikely event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather events, transport delays, illness), La Vinci Events reserves the right to adjust delivery times or cancel bookings with a full refund.
10. Photography and Marketing
By hiring from La Vinci Events, you consent to photographs or videos taken of your event setup being used for marketing and promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes will be handled within the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
