Our First Ekka

This year, LaVinci hit the Ekka for the very first time—invited along by the lovely Olivia from Forever Linked Permanent Jewellery. We set up camp in the John Reid Pavilion for nine glorious, non-stop days, and we had an absolute blast.

Our favourite part? Meeting so many of you and getting the inside scoop on everything you’ve got coming up! Milestone birthdays, engagements that hadn’t even been announced yet (we felt very trusted!), upcoming weddings, a gala ball in need of a Photo Booth, and a whole lot of other parties and special occasions brewing.

We also loved getting to know our fellow exhibitors in the John Reid Pavilion—and of course, we couldn’t resist diving headfirst into the huge Ekka crowds ourselves. There was a Dagwood Dog, my very first Ekka strawberry sundae (now I get the hype!), and, naturally, a Bertie Beetle bag that vanished way faster than it should have. No regrets.

Back at our stand, hundreds of you piled into the LaVinci Photo Booth for a bit of camera magic. We hope your keepsake print made it home in one piece—and you found your digital copy in your inbox!
